We are closely tracking one of the major future cybersecurity challenges: the arrival of quantum computers. In theory, these machines could break some of the encryption algorithms currently in use, such as those based on elliptic curves or RSA.
New NIST‑standardised algorithms
This is why we have been testing and maintaining the official reference library liboqs, which implements the new algorithms standardised by NIST, such as ML‑KEM and ML‑DSA.
Ready, but cautious
We have verified that this technology works correctly on our server and we are prepared to integrate it when the time is right: when the implementations are mature, audited, and recommended for real‑world production environments.
For now, we have not enabled it on public connections because the available versions remain experimental. We prefer to move carefully and do things properly, rather than promise quantum‑safe protection without being absolutely certain of its reliability.

When the time comes — and we trust it will be soon — we will notify you in advance, deploy it in a controlled manner, and explain exactly what is changing and how it benefits you.
